2024 :: Golosinas

Golosinas was the first of our fashion show dance parties at Maria Hernandez Park in Bushwick which subsequently turned into an annual tradition on the first Sunday of October. This show featured an eclectic cast of about 80 models dancing in looks from the new collection. The casting was a a multi generational crew of artists, dancers, DJs, friends, neighbors, and local Bushwick residents. This interactive presentation showed the clothes in the wild on real people in the real world, beyond the runway setting. This event merged Amehl's joyful approach to fashion and self expression with movement, music, dance culture, and community.
There will be DJ sets by local artists SINKITTY, Bruja, Juanito Ferrer, and British Chilean Petroleum.The collection name, Golosinas, means sweets or junk food in Spanish. The clothes and accessories are yummy and a little naughty.
